SPAIN'S LARGEST TROPICAL PINEAPPLE PRODUCER
Our SAT distributes more than 750,000 kilos per year produced on the island of El Hierro. The pineapple is distributed to supermarkets, some restaurants and El Hierro's market. The rest is consumed in hotels in the Canary Islands and large supermarkets.
The pineapple was an alternative crop to the banana because the south-easterly winds damaged the bananas and, since the 80s, it has adapted marvellously to the island of El Hierro. The pineapple of El Hierro is highly appreciated for its incredible flavour.

Frutas del Hierro SAT 377/05 is located in the beautiful El Golfo Valley, in the municipality of La Frontera, El Hierro Island. This island, the most westerly in Europe, enjoys an exceptional climate with average temperatures of 24ºC in summer and 18ºC in winter in the El Golfo Valley. This year-round spring-like climate makes our location ideal for subtropical fruit plantations and an attractive destination for tourists in any season.
We offer year-round production, although it varies from month to month. July and August are the peak production months, while February and March are the lowest production months. This allows us to maintain a constant supply of fresh and delicious fruit to meet our customers' needs throughout the year.
